Role Overview
Our new Outside Parts Sales Representative is a focused and driven sales professional who will be responsible for promoting wear and spare parts for tracked and wheeled heavy equipment in NS, NB and PEI.
Responsibilities
- Traveling to and connecting with current and new customers- taking time to learn their business and their needs through in-person meetings, phone calls, and emails.
- Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships based on trust, respect, and mutual success.
- Working both individually and collaboratively with colleagues to support customer needs.
- Completing expense reports, and sales reports promptly and accurately.
- Following up on parts quotes, possible opportunities, and past sales.
- Participating in company provided product training.
- Attending multiple yearly sales functions within and outside Atlantic Canada.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s license.
- Sales and/or customer service experience. Minimum 2 years.
- Professional communication skills.
- Knowledge of tracked and wheeled heavy equipment parts is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Technical and/or mechanical aptitude would be a benefit.
