RIBO licensed Insurance Personal Lines Account Manager $60-$65,000

We are looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a client-centered professional, who holds themselves to the highest standards and aligns their success with that of the customer.

Position Summary:

The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for retaining the existing book of business and also growing it in accordance with the Company’s culture of excellence, collaboration, professionalism, and integrity.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing an assigned portfolio of personal clients and marketing of selected accounts/opportunities.
  • Review insurance renewals, research and source alternate options if necessary and present these renewals and their terms to clients.
  • Increase business through cross and up selling to existing clients, through client referrals. Also sell to new prospects through client referrals.
  • Review and prioritize insurance claims. Advise and recommend solutions, liaise with insurance adjuster.
  • Prepare client and carrier documentation such as applications, questionnaires, insurance certificates, new business and remarket submissions and invoices.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, developments and regulatory changes.
  • Maintain professional relationships with underwriters, co-workers and clients.
  • Complete clients’ required education hours by attending training sessions, webinars, completing reading material provided by management and attending career seminars.

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education, preferably in the areas of business and insurance
  • RIBO license in good standing
  • 3 to 5 years experience in a Personal Lines role (be it sales, service or both)
  • Experience using Applied TAM and Applied Rater
  • Experience with carrier portals; uploading new business and processing changes •Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products: Outlook, word and Excel.
